For those of faint heart, navigating KL's convulated, pot-holed road system with its fair share of not-very law abiding drivers is not for them - although the motorways are as you can get from A to B really quickly without any traffic lights almost.
But for those made of sterner and stronger stuff and like a bit of a fight, KL's roads are manna from heaven. In fact, driving around KL's busy roads could almost be like being in an ice-hockey match, as you try and stick your head out in some of the smallest gaps in traffic you'll ever see, without even indicating you're going there, hoping the person coming 90 degrees towards you or on the other lane that you want to go to backs off and let's you through. Nowhere in the world are rear-view mirrors important - and nowhere in the world do you treasure a small car with a motorcycle engine.
Anyway here's more pictures - this time we have the Twin Towers, my favourite inedible thing in KL plus Bukit Bintang, KL's original golden district.
This is Malaysia's greatest joy - an example of a traditional open-air dine-in cafe with hawkers. The lady serving "Wan Tan Mee" and "Curry Laksa" has known me since I was in my diapers.
We went to Rembung for dinner one night - they have a Malay-style buffet, pretty much all Malay food for you to try. I haven't been this full for a long time.
Ikan kembung (kembung fish)
Assam laksa (Kedah style) - very hot, must try again

Javanese laksa
Pavillion, probably my favourite shopping centre in KL at the moment. It has all the big brands, i.e. GAP, Zara, Esprit, G2000, Tag Heuer, Adidas etc.

Ah, the hockey ring, I mean KL roads.
By the way, this is the first time I've started putting captions - and it's actually quite a good idea. So you might want to read my blogs again as I'll be putting the captions on.
