Kuala Lumpur - More Food & Squat Toilets

I'll get rid of the squat toilet topic first. The point I would like to make is: why? Why in this day of age would you still stick with separate squat toilets in this part of the world. They're just the worst thing ever invented and I still have nightmares of them. It's the one thing I was happy to leave behind from this part of the world. The good news is that more public bathrooms have proper sit toilets like the rest of the world.

Anyway, to something more alluring to read, my aunt (my mum's second oldest sister) took us out to lunch at this banana leaf restaurant. Now when I mean restaurant here, it's a bit more like a cafe in that there are no doors and people can walk in and out uninhibited.

Now when banana leaf is a very Indian thing and you eat with your hands - or rather right hand as it's a no-no to eat with your left hand (hygienic reason, you wipe your bum with your left).

So if you like eating with your hands, consider India or well going to a banana leaf place. But enough words, here are the pictures.
