Melaka!

Not really too much to talk today as I was helping my brother pack his hostel at the National University of Singapore and we spent most of the day driving but we did stop very briefly in Melaka for dinner with my mum's friends.

Melaka (Malacca is the English spelling) is a pretty cool place actually, one that oozes history and culture and has a very relaxed yet haphazard feel about it. We didn't manage to go into the historic town centre this time - the last time we went there was in 2008. However, we ended up going to this seafood restaurant that is pretty much built on stilts over the shore onto the Strait of Malacca.

As always, the food is sensational as was the sunset over the sea.

Loads of food - veges, fish, chicken.. can't remember all of it but it's very tasty.

Coconut drink

Finally, more food, Japanese ramen in Singapore for lunch -

I might actually be hungry now.
