I love it so much that I decided not to leave the city as early as I thought. Just as well, as I finally got a taste of Krakow's 7-nights-a-week nightlife last night - and now realise I'm getting old as I only lasted till 1 in the morning and have to consign myself to the role of protector of the younger girl travellers now that I have a girlfriend back home.
Not that I'm complaining really.
The sun finally showed up in Krakow, transforming the place instantly into the most wonderful place - long may it continue... It was so nice that it was worth re-taking most of the photos again for the sake of my memory. Yeah, got to see Krakow in the morning.
Polish people are also pretty friendly once you get to know them. I think the language barrier is always going to make it hard but they at least smile at you when you walk past - unlike Austrians who can understand English but just don't bother to smile at you.
Anyway I'm finding it hard to leave my hostel and Krakow. I've met too many good people here at Mama's Hostel - it'll be hard to say goodbye to all of them. Rome & Vienna aside, this is the best hosteling experience I've had in Europe yet.
Oh well I can stay a bit longer now that I've missed the early morning train to Warsaw. Gives me a chance to follow the All Blacks v Ireland game...
