Prague. A city I've always loved. And a city that felt more like home than another new city especially when I got off at the dump which is Holesovice train station.
Holesovice itself is not a bad neighborhood. A bit too quiet at night but it has a market which sells mace and hand grenades. Ok I lie about the hand grenades but you get the idea - you can get things that can kill someone intentionally here.
Prague certainly has become more touristy in the last 5 years. Charles Bridge, the square around the clock, Wenceslas Square and the Castle have definitely become more crowded than I remember.
That's why it's nice to have a place like Vysehrad where you have great views of the Castle and Vltava river but can do it without hordes of tourists being there and with locals there just out to enjoy the long summer afternoon weather.
Nightlife? Let's just say I took it on and got thrashed. But Prague does have some amazing places to go out.
